People’s lifestyles are shifting to have a vehicle that meets their daily needs and their weekend fun. Mazda created the subcompact CX-30 to make this a reality.

The CX30 is designed for a young active family. Inside the vehicle is modern and driver-focused. The interior details are modern and high-quality finish. An optional head-up display and a rear power liftgate.

The handling is balanced for a compact CUV. Active safety is full of 3-letter acronyms including lane departure prevention, cross traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, radar cruise control and most can be adjusted in the setting menu.

The optional Bose Bassmatch 8-speaker audio system is well balanced and offers high-resolution audio and FLAC USB files. The 8.8” center screen does not offer touch screens but buttons only, this is controversial as Mazda believes touch screen is a distraction. This is a personal taste. XM, Apple, and Android are included. Optional in car WiFi if you need to stay connected.

My Mazda app allows you to check your oil, tire pressures, navigation directions, unlock your car and notifications.

We drove it from Palm Springs to San Diego, CA to test all aspects and give it our Car Coach Reports rating, join us on the ride.
