2019 GMC Sierra vs Chevy Silverado
Lauren Fix will walk you through the specs to the luxurious 2019 GMC Sierra and how it compares to the Chevy Silverado on this week’s episode of The Car Coach®.
The redesigned 2019 GMC Sierra finishes in the middle of our full-size truck rankings. It’s got a nice interior, and it’s plenty capable, but it doesn’t do much to distinguish itself from its rivals.
User-friendly infotainment system
Some rivals are more upscale inside
MPG: 15-17 CITY / 19-23 HWY
RWD or 4WD
5.3L, 6.2L or 6 cyl diesel

Similar and different, both truck are running for North American Truck of the Year. Both are full size trucks.
Trucks are about utility.
1 – Unique Styling – GMC has a more aggressive front end and the Denali has more chrome.
2 – Rear tailgate and bed – MultiPro tailgate has 6- different ways to use the tailgate, optional carbon fiber bed which saves 62 lbs.
3 – Interior – different trims and GMC offers real aluminum and wood trims.
4 – More tech in Sierra – rear camera mirror, multi functional color head-up display and available ProGrade Trailing system.
5 – Suspension – adaptive ride control adjusts to road conditions. More car like ride.
