The car formerly known as the Scion FR-S gets a new name for 2017: the Toyota 86. Toyota has killed its Scion sub-brand but the FR-S/86 lives on. With the new name comes several minor updates including a slight increase in power, revised manual transmission gearing and suspension tuning, and restyled front and rear fascias.

Sienna:
Most significant changes: The 3.5-liter V-6 engine gets direct injection and 30 more horsepower, and a new eight-speed automatic transmission replaces the six-speed as standard on all models.
Price change: Base prices are $900 higher on all models, and the destination charge increases $40 to $940.
Which should you buy, 2016 or 2017? 2017, which should have better acceleration and fuel economy thanks to direct injection and the new transmission.

The base 2017 Sienna L 4×2 minivan is priced at $30,690.
The top-of-the-line 2017 Sienna Limited Premium with all-wheel drive starts at $48,250.

Key Sienna rivals include the Chrysler Pacifica, Honda Odyssey, Kia Sedona and Nissan Quest.
