My test vehicle included the security and convenience package. A few notable features were remote start and U-Connect voice, a 40Gb, voice-activated hard drive that can hold over 6700 songs. The large navigation system was easy to use and included Boston Acoustic speakers with a subwoofer and a media center with Sirius Travel Link, a big asset to the well-appointed Patriot. The 17″ aluminum wheels gave this truck a classier look.

Competes with:

•Ford Escape
•Kia Sportage
•Nissan Rogue
•Dodge Caliber
•Honda CR-V
•Subaru Forester
•Toyota RAV4
•Mitsubishi Outlander

Likes:

•Affordable price
•Off-road ability
•U- Connect System
•Spacious seats
•Good cargo space

Dislikes:

•Delay in the transmission response
•Seats need lumbar support and better lateral support
•Needs better center console storage

The Patriot is a compact sport utility vehicle featuring classic Jeep styling in an affordable package that’s great for around town or for some off-road fun.
