We test-drove the all-new 2014 Kia Soul; it’s a playful but more sophisticated vehicle with soft touch materials throughout, a designer steering wheel and high quality textures. The new Soul is lower, longer and wider with better cargo capacity and more legroom and interior room.
Other upgrades include Xenon headlights, LED tail lamps, heated front and rear seats, and air-cooled ventilated front seats. There are three trim levels
which can offer 17″ alloy wheels, a large panoramic roof, and rear camera. Upgraded safety features include 6 airbag systems and 8 active and passive safety systems.
The Kia UVO system offers an 8″ screen with controls that are similar to a smart phone with an Infinity 10-speaker sound subsystem with Aha Radio, Pandora with sound rings.
On our test drive, the Soul provided a quiet ride and was fun and easy to drive.
There are 7 new colors including the Alien 2 green, which is popular.
