The 2018 Honda Fit has a starting price of $16,190 and is available at your local dealership right now.
Honda was built on being fun to drive and sporty, and this is no exception.
Honda is fortifying their passenger car lineup with their 3rd generation refresh for the Honda Fit.
The Fit is efficient, inexpensive, and fun. It’s the “most Honda, Honda.”
This is the entry vehicle for the Honda brand, and attracts 70% of new Honda buyers, skewing toward millennials. Honda will be running the most multicultural campaign they’ve ever produced in the coming months to promote the new Fit. Keep and eye out for that.
The Fit commands 20% of the subcompact market, and has the highest resale value of any vehicle therein.
The mid-model refresh offers upgraded styling, a new Sport option which is lateral to the LX; has orange accents aside from the sporty upgrades, and a low and wide stance. This brings the styling in line with the Accord and Civic. The Fit has upgraded underpinnings that result in smoother ride, better handling and feel, and sound proofing for a more quiet one as well.
All 2018 Honda Fits include the option for Honda Sensing, their semi-autonomous safety features like:
Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM)
Active Cruise Control (ACC)
Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS)
Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
Honda Sensing is an option for the LX and Sport, and is standard on the EX and EX-L trims.
The Honda Fit has an available HFP (Honda Factory Performance) accessories that adds a few cosmetic changes, and exclusive options within that for a suspension upgrade, carpets, and badging. Additionally, an HFP accessories package will be available for the Civic in the near future.
The Honda Performance Development (HPD) headquarters, or the ‘Kremlin’ and Paul Brian likes to call it, was established in 1993. They develop racing packages for many of their vehicle; and all of their production road engines have a place on the racetrack, even the one from the Odyssey minivan. HPD offers a package for the Fit for racing, as it’s a great staring point to enter the sport. After all, Honda is a engineering company with a racing problem supported by their production road cars! The racing spirit is ingrained in the brand.
Honda has the most IndyCar wins of any manufacturer in the series, and each engine is made built at HPD and tested for individual environments before it even gets in the racecar.
The Honda Racing Line allows consumers to purchase factory parts, made for customers to go racing in their cars.
